Whoever claims to love God and yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother or sister whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen. 1 John 12:20
There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. Luke 12:2
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’
Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ Matthew 7:21-23
There are more verses on hypocrisy from the word of God but these are just a few of them that I put in this article.
The reason I am writing this is because of a wrong being done in the VA system and probably elsewhere too.
This is about women in the military. I for one am not against women who are in the military, or combat. In fact Israel the nation of God’s chosen people uses women in the military. I am all for that.
Since I am a disabled veteran I have the right to say this, However I also believe that if woman are to join the military and demand to be treated as fellow combatants that should extend to disabled veterans or veterans too, especially in the medical system.
I have to ride a van from Beaumont, Texas Veterans Clinic to Houston medical Center every time I need to see a specialist. The first incident was years ago when I was going to have a colonoscopy done so I took the van to Houston to spend the night in courtesy quarters, to do my prep before the next morning procedures.
I had a small bag packed for an overnight stay and was getting ready to get in the van to ride to Houston, when the driver told me because of my size I should ride in the front seat. So I was standing there waiting to get in.
Two women had showed up one with a big mouth saying, the rules were if women were riding the van they got the front seat. I tried to tell her the driver told me to sit in front but the mouthy one insisted on a woman getting in the front. So she told the other woman to sit in the front that refused and got in the back with the rest of the veterans.
Needless to say the mouthy rude lady sat in the front herself. I had to sit in the back with the rest of the veterans, even after being told by the driver to sit in the front. Naturally I went and sat in the back to avoid an altercation.
Second incident is last Friday, the 21st of July 2017 I had to ride the van to see the dermatologist at Houston VA Medical center when a woman who I believe was the same one when time to get in the van rushed like mad to get in the front seat. I ended up even as fat as I am sitting in the very back of the Van. Same thing happened when we went to get back in the van to return home.
Normally I would not have a problem with this except I was so fat I got stuck trying to get out of the van when we got back to the clinic in Beaumont.
I noticed when I finally got myself out she was long gone. My point is why, if any, is there a rule which she claimed that women are to ride in the front seat of the van?
I thought women wanted to be treated like other veterans, no special treatment. Treated like other combatants or service members, yet when it comes to a simple van ride never mind who needs the front seat the most if you are a woman you are supposed to automatically get the front seat?
Woman wonders why there is so much resentment of them being in the military. This woman does not want to be treated as an equal she wants to be treated as a queen. Just do things for her that would not be done for her if she were a man.
I would not write this normally but I served 14 years active duty Air Force, and then 6 years army reserve mostly inactive reserve. Too much time put in to put up with this kind of hypocrisy and stupidity. If a woman wants to be treated as a veteran then be treated as a veteran. IF she want to be treated as a woman only than be a woman only. Should not have the best of both worlds. Women she be fellow airman or servicemen or not. Not both.
If the van people do have that rule, shame on them. Not only is the rule discrimatory it is also sexist.
I know women have been wrongfully treated for years treated like second class citizens. In some countries they are not looked on as human beings but as objects or things to possess. That is so wrong too.
But I am not guilty of either of these, so why should I be punished just because a woman wants to make a sexist move against man. Isn’t it that women don’t want to be treated as sex objects?
I overheard her saying to the driver he is still angry with me. I do not know who she was talking about but it sounded like me. I do not wish to be angry with anyone at all. In fact the bible tells us to be angry and sin not. Don’t let the sun go down on your anger. Kind of hard to do when I finally got myself unstuck she was long gone.
What a hypocrite. Except for one man who was skinny I had to sit in the very back. I got stuck trying to get out. I had to force myself almost falling on the ground to get out of the back of this van. While this woman was able to just jump out of the front seat and disappear instantly.
I don’t know if she is saved or not but if she is, she sure was not acting like it.
