I know that all of the above are nothing but scripture but they pertain to my long overdue subject.
What is frustration? First to me it is something or an event that happens that one can do nothing about.
Now the dictionary definition of frustration. Miriam Webster says a feeling of anger or annoyance caused by being unable to do something: the state of being frustrated
Something that causes feelings of anger and annoyance: something that frustrates someone
The act of preventing the success of something: the act of frustrating something
The reason I posted scripture first because I wanted my readers to know some of what the bible has to say about frustration.
Everyone gets frustrated because things just are not going their way, but that is absolutely no excuse to take it out on others. We all do that.
I get very frustrated, and upset at things because things do not get done in a timely manner. I get frustrated because I end up doing things I am not supposed to do and end up getting hurt.
So the human way of doing things are just to go and take it out on people. Instead I try to joke around. In order not to hurt anyone’s feelings. But then I run across people that cannot take a joke and get frustrated at whatever is going on in their life. So they lash out at the nearest thing to them and it is usually is a friend.
I was brought up being taught what is worth doing is worth doing well, so I get so frustrated when things are not done right. That still does not give me an excuse to take it out on other people.
There are times I just let things go out of sheer frustration because I know it will or will not be done anyway. I know that is wrong but that is just the way I am.
Whatever we do we are supposed to do it as unto the Lord. I try that so hard but I always fall short of Jesus expectation and that is frustrating to me most of all.
I can joke around with someone to cover the pain I live with and yet that someone who is frustrated takes out their frustrations on me. It is times like these I just wish Jesus would hurry up and return to rapture us to Himself, which is another subject.
Until his return I guess I will just live in a world of frustration and futility. This is why I want the rapture to happen so bad I know that in heaven I will no longer be frustrated at things that happen in my life I have no control over. But I also want the will of God first and foremost and his will is perfect and will come to past.
So fellow believers square your shoulders and pull yourself up by your bootstraps. Don’t let frustration get the best of you. Jesus is even Lord over frustration which comes from the enemy Satan.
