They are a group of people or groups of people like minded and keep others out. Maybe not intentionally but it happens. Sometimes people grow up together and are comfortable with each other. Same goes with just knowing each other a very long time.To me in my most humble opinion this is very damaging to people outside any so called clique. Maybe intentional or unintentional but the damage is done. Most people in these Cliques are afraid to leave their comfort zones and reach out to others in need.
I know I may be stepping on toes but this is not what I have in mind. I just was warning others about not falling into this trap. This kind of behavior tears apart others, organizations and is very sinful in my eyes. How can we show Gods love when we only run around with certain people, only helping certain people in need? Why can’t we just help as many as we can if we can?
Now I do realize and understand that immediate family always comes first, but as a believer in Jesus Christ I always thought that Jesus came first. I realize that there are times that we just absolutely cannot come to the aid of someone in need. I know that and it is heart breaking. But those that can and just do not want to for convenience sake should be ashamed of themselves. To me if you cannot physically or financially help others the least you can do is pray for them. Forgive me if I offend anyone with this but this is just how I feel.
Now I know that some might say Jesus only travelled with his disciples that were a clique. Not at all. Jesus was teaching them so after He went back to be with the Father they could continue to spread the good news to all the people of the world. Not just certain people.
His great commission was to go into ALL THE WORLD and preach the gospel or good news. Not to just a select few or only certain parts of the world. Jesus loves us all not just a select few and Jesus is not a respecter of persons. In other words, he does not play favorites with anyone.
Jesus healed the sick and the blind and confronted the cliques of his day and age the Sadducees and the Pharisees. They thought they were better than anyone else. If you were not a part of their clique then you were just a dirty rotten sinner. They did not realize that they were dirty rotten sinners too. Just like us. Jesus loved them as much as he loved us. If they had wanted to they could have accepted his free gift of salvation. But their hideous clique held them from doing that. So let us stop being in a clique and reach out to others for Jesus. Help our brothers and Sisters in Christ when we can and others too. Show all the love of Jesus.
