It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. Romans 14:21
I personally do not like to see tattoos on people. I think they are ugly but I am obese and I know that some people are disgusted by it. I am sure that God still loves me and cares for me because God does not see our outer appearance, but what is on the inside.
Many people I am sure either are covered in tattoos or are morbidly obese as I am morbidly obese. But rest assured I love Jesus as much as any other believer if not more than some. Jesus is my life. He can be yours too.
Just because someone is covered in tattoos does not mean they are not born again. Ugly in my eyes yes, but born again. So who am I with my own faults to criticize others? I try not to do this but being the sinful believer, I am I fall often into this trap.
Those who tell someone that is a born again believer, that they do not like them because of their tattoos, need to look at themselves and ask themselves, what is it about me that disgusts other believers? I am sure if you look hard you will find it.
I personally will not tell someone that their tattoos are ugly unless they ask me what I think. I also think that there are those that take this judge not too far in order to live their sinful lifestyle.
For those who have tattoos and are true believers, why not go to Jesus and ask Him whether you should have the tattoos removed or not? If so, Jesus will provide a way to remove them. If not Jesus might have a ministry for you to others with tattoos who are not born again. I may not like the tattoo, and others may not like it either. But unless Jesus says for you to remove it. Use it to reach others we may not be able to reach not having tattoos.
